Yay, there is *another* mode now? Like there weren't too many already...

Re: XCom 2 has a countdown on every mission

I don't see the problem. This is not a sandbox game, so players are not necessarily entitled to farm the map for every nook and cranny. Look no further than Klei's Invisible Inc. to see a great example of how to put turn-based tactics on a timer. Thank you, another game I won't waste time trying :)

XCom 2 has a countdown on every mission

... or so the reviews say. Somehow they make it sound like a good thing, which IMO goes into Stockholm Syndrome territory. The lazy designer's way out... let's put a time limit on it. That instantly moved it to the 'maybe buy it when it's 95% off' pile for me. Perhaps they should have hired an actua...

Re: [Poll] The New Spells: Buy them from the shop?

I'd vote get rid of gold and give everyone all talismans from day 1. Give new people a level playing field to play against veterans with just the experience gap to separate them +1 to this. Single player and PvP could of really done with seperate inventories. Make everything available in PvP, and k...

Re: Increase turn time limit in Async League games

I suppose that to have a real chess clock - i.e. 40 days to make all your turns, and no limit for each turn - would be too slow for the youngsters, but how about a compromise? 40 days to make all your turns and up to 4 days for a turn?

Re: Poll: How to monetize a CR mobile port

I don't think the audience for Chaos appreciates any kind of "monetization". I'd rather pay once and get the full game. And even that isn't a guarantee your game won't be turned into a free to play pile of shit by some update later in the mobile world, which is why I don't look for mobile games any ...

Re: What are your top 5 games of all time?

5 is too little, so let's try categories: 1. Immersive RPGs, the likes of Deus Ex or Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines, or Fallout. 2. 4X: Some version of Civilization. 3. I'll put the Souls series in its own category. The only games where dying always feels like it's my fault. 4. Same for Metal G...

Re: Lack of communication to Kickstarter backers

I'd like to state that this is the only kickstarter where I accepted a Steam code, because I couldn't wait to play multiplayer.
Other than that I prefer GoG. Steam needs competition to stay honest.

Re: I am playing Witcher 3 now :-)

Witcher 3 was the only game I thought worth preordering this year... and it was worth the 40+ euros price.
However, I must admit I've set it aside to play Bloodborne. Two very different games, both brilliant.
