Yep, was in a Realms game with an Invader last week, and the options were Enter to talk to my (non-existent) team, and Shift+Enter to talk to All.

I had many a one-sided conversation before I realised :?

Hows about:

Grumpy: Unsuccessful attack attempts on an ogre increase its attack and/or defence.

Just goblins in a coat: Killing an ogre spawns two goblins in neighbouring spaces. :D

Hangry: Every turn the ogre doesn't kill (eat) something, its attack goes up by 10 and its defence drops by 10.

Being able to pick up any small creature or mana sprite and deposit it somewhere else would be tactically very interesting.

Not sure about stealing stuff, because it sounds like a lot of extra coding/animating for a single creature.

I like the idea of Corporealization and possess!

Possess: If a ghost successfully kills a creature, that creature immediately becomes an undead version of itself under the ghost caster's control, and the ghost disappears? Undead creatures die as normal.

I've only just started dabbling with realm design, but I'm already trying to figure out how to shoehorn different narrative structures in. :D I think given time, the Realm system will be an awesome way to flesh out the CR universe. That said, it'll take a while to scrape the bottom of the narrative ...

I think the cost per shot would need some fine tuning, from your post a regular shot would cost 10 mana, which seems a little high, but I like the idea of a 5 space shot costing more than a 4. Also if it's going to apply to bows I think it should apply to all magic weapons, although I'm not sure ho...

Just to chip in (as having gone back through the thread I don't think this idea has been mentioned). How about having the 'Magic' bow use mana to fire? This would allow for the bow to be used every turn if you really wanted, but would be costly, given as wizards may strategically have other/better t...
