Sorry, it probably doesn't interest anyone ;) just saying that this tourney helped me decide against playing in anything that leaves the opportunity for async play ever again, purely a matter of personal preference ofc.
No need to apologise, it's horses for courses mate, we all have our preferences :-)

How is the game with MrTwister and Rafi going? Is it still in play?

I feel your pain d00m no great way to win either. im not a fan of 2v2 asynch, love all the others but it does limit the colaboration that you can do, if you ask your team mate a question and wait for a responce you can lose a lot of time, really you just wind up making decisions on your your own which defeats the point of 2v2 i feel. still mega thanks as always to mr spite a pillar of the chaos comunity there should be some kind of reward a steam achievment or the like for that.

If spite were a chaos god i would follow him for sure. :D

I don't think we've had an easy choice with 2v2s either way. The option was always open for people to play these games live, but clearly coordinating everyone to be online at the same time has been harder in practice than in theory.

The point of setting games up in asynch, was to just get the games set up and moving for those times when people weren't online together. I'd never intended that they'd play out as asynchs because just as you guys feel it takes away an element of coordination.

The way that me and Kahangriel handled it at times was to send each other messages via in game or steam chat, this is something that you can do even if the other player was offline, this way we could still offer each other help and advice (and often then the other player would blatantly ignore it). ;-)

Rafi & MrTwister win, due to a lucky rat and a timeout I think:/
MrTwister 6
Suprass 18
RafiRomero 55

Cheers Rafi, that brings the group stage to a close.

Knockout stage fixtures can be seen here

I'd suggest that unless you're playing them live that you wait until after 26 Oct to arrange fixtures.

North UK wins against Manchester.

An interesting game with plenty of high level creatures, turned into a bore after Doofus died and Fox flew his manti to an island. It took multiple turns of bow and elf shots before he finally died.
