Obsilium went for an ~50% all in on Varanas and failed, with manticore and wizard on higher ground falling to the counter attack of wizard with sword, spider and skeleton.

Obsilium slays SlipperyJim with a buffed up vampire after surviving about 5-6 turns in Jim's blob earlier in the game.

The tournament is decided now. RafiRomero also failed to deal with the enormous vampire, and I manage a consolation victory from a truly dire position earlier on.

4th: Kahangriel
3rd: SlipperyJim
2nd: RafiRomero
1st: Obsilium

Since ContraMinus is also dead in the other game, Varanas now has at least 9 points and makes it to the final.

Therefore the players in the final will be

Efreet
SpiteAndMalice
Trigz
Varanas

Here are the head to head results:

SpiteAndMalice 2 - Varanas 0
SpiteAndMalice 0 - Trigz 0 (yes, two players from that game made it...)
Varanas 3 - Trigz 0

If Varanas does not kill Incarnadine, the head to head favors Varanas, then SpiteAndMalice, then Trigz. If Varanas wins however, then SpiteAndMalice won't be able to use the head to head with Varanas in the first tiebreak, so it will go on to the second tiebreak. This will only occur when Varanas has 10 points and Incarnadine has 3, so we calculate:

Distinct wizards eliminated:
SpiteAndMalice: Varanas, ContraMinus - total 17 points
Trigz: Mr_Twister, Kahangriel - total 13 points

Thus, we have the final ordering with respect to draw odds:

Efreet
Varanas
SpiteAndMalice
Trigz

I would love to cast the final if the four of you are available over the weekend. If not, I would ask for somebody to record the game so that it is available for spectators. Thank you all for taking part. I have been pretty busy over the last few weeks so I'm not sure if I'm ready to start another 4Most Masters very quickly. If somebody wants to temporarily take over the format under the same rules, I can do the pairing randomization for them though, as I have a working method.

Hope the final will be a great game!

That was a close one. I didn't notice how many turns were left and stupidly moved my dragons away from ContraMinus, thankfully Incarnadine's dragon was able to deal the killing blow.

I should be available all weekend as long as it's not too late in the UK.

I'm going to struggle this weekend, it being Valentine's and all I've somehow managed to talk myself into both going to out to do lots of stuff and also painting the bathroom.

I might get a chance on Friday night, maybe... if not I'm probably looking at the weekend after.

For some reason I thought these had already been posted, but I guess not. Results for game 7:
2nd (draw) - Incarnadine, Varanas
3rd - ContraMinus
4th - Obsilium

Yeah I just didn't have the end result, but I had calculated already that it wouldn't matter for the final standings.

I suggest that the four finalists start talking to each other to figure out when they want to play the final.

Alright, I completely forgot about this final until Spite just reminded me.

I think we're all struggling to get this going live so I've set up an Asych match if that's ok.

Game ID - 710456
P/word - 1234

Cheers

Sounds good to me, at least we can get playing. I'm in.
