Icarus Protection Program

Anyone wanna play?

3 v 3 | Chaos equipped
idea is to escort an icarus tower from one end of the map to the other, with teams starting on opposite ends, likely we will all die before the towers get where they are going :)

1 member on each team will need to bind a tower, otherwise towers are taboo in regular gameplay (so as not to confuse).

Spite: you got a good map scenario that would work for this? Crazy Forest?

All: doesn't have to be an icarus, we could use something else if there's a strong consensus one way or another (i'm concerned about inability to navigate terrain and slowness)

Open to additional guidelines if there are any thoughts.

I'll be on team A, leaving spots A2 and A3 open.
As well as B1, B2, and B3

First to sign up for a spot takes it, please make sure the spot is still open and specify which one you're taking, if there's more than 6 we can open another game :)

If you want to use an Icarus Tower, the biggest obstacle is changes in terrain height. The best fit I can see is if you play on Mana Piscine and make player 4 the Icarus Tower carrier, (with 5 and 6 on the same team).

But are you wanting both teams to do this, or is it just one team, with the others defending? It only really works in one direction, as the other end doesn't have a flat route to the end of the map.

If you swap the Icarus Tower for a Dwarf you get a lot more possibilities. The Space Between for instance could make for a very good map, you could even say that you don't have to get your dwarf to the other side of the map, I think it'd work to just try to get one past the trench in the middle of the map.

Oh cool. I think the dwarves would work well with the Space map. I think it would be 1 dwarf for each team. Any idea which person on each team makes the most sense for binding? Thanks!

I would be so up for this for Icarus Tower. Dwarf does not excite me. Dwarf might well play better, but Icarus Tower escort is just ridiculous and I love that:)
It occurs to me that Icarus Tower cannot be magic attacked; dwarf can: if you go with dwarf, perhaps magic attacks should also be taboo?

We're looking at custom game-modes for demigods and gods at the moment.
I quite like the idea of a VIP-escort format:)

I'm just waiting on 6 people to show interest, then I'll set it up. Seems a likelier % of success to do this as invite only. With the themed custom games, plenty of folks just randomly signup without reading the log etc :)

So far it's just Worto, Rafi, and me (Aka)
