  • I'm sure this is documented somewhere but I can't find it

    How do you progress the various levels, the one I'm interested in is;

    Wizard King --> Demigod

do I need to be level 100 AND have 1000 Karma or is it, level 100 OR 1000 Karma?

I've heard both from different people.

If there is a full list somewhere - can anyone point me in the direction of it?

    Cheers.

  • Hi Worto,

    It's definitely OR.

Gary is not level 200 but has God Rank due to his Karma.

  • i find your lack of faith disturbing worto

DG is lvl 100 or 1000 karma
God is lvl 200 or 5000 karma

they have hidden the xp required per level but from what i remember the xp per level required around the 70s was 3000 to 4000 per level or somewhere in between and of course it increases every time you move up so say it was 3350 the next level would be 3400 as I think it went up in 50s

If you want an exact fight you can do the math

    1 - 50
    2 - 100
    3 - 150
    4 - 200
    5 - 250
    6 - 300
    7 - 350
    8 - 400
    9 - 450
    10 - 500
    20 - 1000
    30 - 1500
    40 - 2000
    50 - 2500
    60 - 3000
    70 - 3500
    71 - 3550
    72 - 3600
    73 - 3650
    74 - 3700
    75 - 3750
    76 - 3800
    77 - 3850
    78 - 3900
    79 - 3950
    80 - 4000
    90 - 4500
    100 - 5000

or you could just place your cursor over the level box and it will tell you how much you have and how much you need to move up a level :)

  • @Matty: yeah, Matty, been through that as well. Guessing it's in place for the rare player that will ally and then not really try to help. But, I'd say that scenario is pretty rare. The system needs some tweaking. More often than not beginning players are the ones calling for help and since they are still learning they are more likely to throw a game away due to some reckless move, so your 20 minutes goes into the abyss. None of which is really a big deal but overall, the system is not quite working as it should, especially the role of invader.

  • @ Matty and Aka, I'm pretty sure that's been fixed for the next update (allowing allies to continue fighting after host dies)
Not exactly sure what form it'll take but i saw it on cgr's twitter awhile ago..

that said, it'd be nice if invaders could get compensated when they're put in over their head. Maybe using a VP system to give them points for each creature/wizard slain or how many turns they survive based on how much stuff the host player has (reinforcements, allies, etc.)
