  • Seems like he's asking you to compare apples and oranges...Although, the ways that they do compare is that:
    -There both turnbased
    -Play up to 6 players
    -Contain alot of variety (although not as obvious in chaos reborn, until you understand how the game varies more with tactics than with superficial stuff like selectable characters, objectives, etc.)
    -Provide some boardgamey/dice rollin' hoots

    All I'd suggest is to have him buy the game and play around with it under the 2 hour time limit to see if it isn't too opaque for him to get into it. If he likes it, try to invite a friend to pick it up to play with..or if he doesn't, just refund it.

  • They should first try the free demo, which has all of the tutorials in it.
    Might be worth warning that the tutorials are pretty long:)
    I'd say that aside from asynch (and even then, you'd need to pre-arrange, I think?), your player will struggle to get a 6-way going with strangers right now (although filling at least some slots with AI is always an option).
