Getting this off my Chest

Discussion and questions about the latest version of Chaos Reborn. Not for bugs, but for comments about the game play.

  • Can it be made clear that in ruin battles in realms that the collection of chest is not win condition.

Having the words 'Objective: Collect all the chests' leads a lot of new players in to believing they have to collect them all to win the fight.

Or of course, make it a win condition.

But dont leave it in its current state of making it sound like its something it is not.

'Collect chests for bonus gold' or something would be enough

  • 1+ as even if it were the case that this was a win condition, it wouldn't be fun. Which could understandably lead to some false impressions of the game.

  • Coming to think of it though, having to collect the chests as a win condition could be a good objective for custom games lobbies.
For mana sprites, both players can nab them, causing a lose condition by not having enough.
Perhaps chests could only be opened by one team and be a simply a condition of having to hunt them all down, the defender, just defending them.
