Undead Goblin Horse Thief

Zee undead goblin appears to be riding the pretty unicorn

Wow, what is going on here exactly.
Is that an actual goblin and actual unicorn? I.e., they can both move and attack?
Is it actually doing a mount animation/ pose instead of being superimposed?
Did it actually ride?! As in, the unicorn moved and the goblin with it?
Are the offending creatures both AI (both same team?)?
I've seen creatures remain on the map when dead occasionally (I think if a wizard surrenders in asynch this can happen, but the mount that is left behind is a "ghost", is visible but not clickable).

Yes. was very interesting.

Is an actual undead goblin seemingly in riding pose, that actually moved simultaneously with the real unicorn. Both creatures active in the game.

Both creatures were on same team and belonged to rival AI.

Was in the midst of the creature displacement glitch that I have seen pretty rampantly lately, where opposing AI creatures are seen to be in one place but actually aren't.

Following this scene, the goblin jumped off unicorn, moved 4 hexes (in one move) and attacked something.

FYI, I spectated the match at its end and saw it's playthrough. The anomaly didn't show up in the spectated replay.

wow best glitch ever.

I would stop just burning goblins if they could ride unicorns for sure.

This is something that has been reported a few times under various different titles.. it's quite hard to dig them all out and file them under one thing (but they all technically describe the same thing.. some kind of weird desync occurring with the AI's turns and moves).

I refer to this bug as 'the desync bug' (but that's probably the wrong term).

..I've bumped one of the original reports of this, entitled the 'time warp' bug.. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5260

This report will help explain why the game can look normal when spectating it or watching the playback but from the players point of view the board positions appear glitched.
