Icarus Protection Program
Re: Icarus Protection Program
Not the best graphic, maybe this will be better.
Does this help? The zones at the top and bottom are the purple zones, in the middle is the red zone.
Players will spawn as 2 groups, 1 group in the top part of the map and 1 in the lower part
They will race to the line on their part of the map where their purple zone meets the red zone and caste their icarus within their purple zone.
They will then proceed to escort their icarus through the red zone into the other teams purple, winning the game.
Players can enter into the red zone and attempt to caste spells ahead of their icarus, but doing so may be dangerous if the other player(s) fail to caste their team's tower, because no icarus can be cast within the redzone.
It seemed like a simple idea but there's some necessary framework required up front to make sure all the players are playing the same game. Even if 2 or 3 of us get it, it'll be simpler to convey during gameplay if need be.

Yep - OK - got it!
Might be a slow start while we all make sure we're doing the right thing, then it'll be fine

Re: Icarus Protection Program
Hi - I asked in the lobby but can't read that very easily at work, is it fully equipped or do I just bind an icarus?

Re: Icarus Protection Program
Thanks for clarifying, Worto, fully equipped for this first run.
Re: Icarus Protection Program
Well okay, thanks for inviting me into that wonderful journey! what I think about is we should define the wideness of all the fields and also to count all of the hexes inside, like this http://imgur.com/a/ZJGXX, what do u think guys? for the sake of fairness!

lol. Blobka, are you just messing with me
or raising a point?

Re: Icarus Protection Program
Blobka and I had a good exchange on fine-tuning some gameplay issues that resulted from the game starting
I may need to edit this list and keep it current, depending on smoothness of play. These are more or less just proposals, feel free to argue against.
No casting of any kind within the red zone
No killing wizards outside of the red zone
Icarus Towers cannot attack each other

Re: Icarus Protection Program
Sooo: did I cast my icarus in the right place? & I think I now have to leave it there until the opposing team casts an icarus (which I think they should do ASAP?).
